As we noted to the media after the meeting of the Oxfordshire County Council Planning Committee in May, we have the option of exploring the grounds for a Judicial Review of their decision to grant planning permission to OFAS.  For example, their discussion and decision did not take account of the alternatives that were available. The final decision of the OCC may come at the end of October or may be subject to delay.  Once it is made we have six weeks to lodge our grounds for a judicial review.

We would take this step by step. The first step is to seek good legal advice about whether there are good legal grounds for a review. We have been told this will cost us £4800 up front.

Thanks to our very generous supporters we have raised our first target of £80,000 for the legal fees for the Public Enquiry last November, whose decision has yet to be made public.

We are now seeking to raise the £4800 needed to gain the legal advice we need.

Already £1500 has been donated. Might you be able to contribute towards matching a part of that? The donate button on our site will take you there.

Thank you
