Exchange land super wide (1)

Do you visit any of these parcels of land?

The five yellow parcels on this map are being proposed as exchange land for pink open land that would be compulsorily purchased by the Environment Agency for the Oxford Flood Alleviation Scheme. An inquiry into this exchange land will be held on 19 January 2024. Exchange land should be “equally advantageous” to the people using the existing open land. Land that is already regularly used by the public should not be used as exchange land. Also Oxford University is arguing that the public don’t visit Kennington Pools, so no exchange land is needed for taking Kennington Pools.

If you use any exchange land parcels and/or Kennington Pools at all regularly, please fill in https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1EyWJ8v4zdZe30LTP_ryeG6W0uP7mQqCVLu72fP7VFhU/edit?usp=sharing or email riki@phonecoop.coop stating, for each relevant parcel of land:

  1. Name or letter of the parcel of land
  2. How frequently you visit (e.g. weekly)
  3. How long you have been visiting (e.g. 5 years)
  4. What you do when you visit (e.g. walk dog)
  5. Your name
  6. Your postcode
  7. Your phone number or email (we need this in case the inspector is concerned about the veracity of the data we collect

Thank you!
